ABOUT ME

My interest in holistic health practices started in my teens, inspired and fostered by my own father, who introduced me to yoga and massage.
Professionally I first trained as a midwife in Moscow in the early 90's and it was during my studies that I noticed how breathing exercises, massage and relaxation techniques could contribute to a healthy pregnancy and birth. So after my graduation I went on to study Massage, Rehabilitation and recreational Exercises at Moscow University, graduating in 1998 and then finished my PHD in 2003. I also studied yoga and have taught yoga in Moscow since 2002. Combining all this knowledge, I have since then successfully helped numerous people, including pregnant women, to get more out of life.
However, my professional development did not stop there. Before moving to the UK in 2012, I have worked as a massage therapist at various clinics in Russia, and continued my vocational training at the Changmai School where I studied Thai Yoga massage. More recently, I became a member of Buteyko Clinic International and qualified as a Buteyko breathing instructor. As well as a traditional oil based massage, my specialisms include Thai Yoga massage, holistic massage and craniosacral therapy.
Outside of work I am an experienced Japanese Martial Arts practitioner and instructor 6th Dan Jodo “the art of the long stick”, 6 th Dan Iaido, 3d Dan Kendo “the art of the sword”, which I studied internationally and successfully competed at international levels.
